In 2003, Calcot decided to explore a new avenue by venturing into the towel business. Calcot manufactures and markets these towels as finished products, proudly using Calcot cotton, grown exclusively by their growers-members in California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. As a group, farmers are very unique individuals. They don't farm because it's glamorous; they farm because they are proud of their heritage, passed down from generation to generation.
