Considering my toddler spend close to half of his time asleep, I was looking for a waterproof mattress protector that doesn't stink PVC plastic and leak harmful chemical contaminants.
Looks like Gotcha Covered with its Organic Mattress Protector was the solution.
The organic cotton jersey sleeping surface is super soft and comfy. The waterproof polyurethane backing of all recycled materials is inert and totally odorless. I washed it a couple of times and it kept a perfect shape with no piling. So far so good. It might be pricey compared to a regular mattress pad but quality and peace of mind are worth it.
