I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this lamp. It looks great and my son loves it. The night light feature is excellent.

Overall a great little lamp. The colors are not quite as vivid in person - more of a burgandy/red truck and the ladder and top of truck are more of a taupe/olive green shade - it ended up looking great with the colors in my son's room, but if you need bright red and white, it could be a problem. My only other complaint would be the order of how it lights up. The first click turns on the nightlight, the second click turns on the main lamp, and the third turns on both...I think it would make more sense in the reverse order so that if you want to turn the nightlight off after your child is asleep, you can do so w/o 2 more clicks and the bright light coming on twice. Still, it's not a deal breaker for us and I think the lamp is absolutely adorable. Very good quality and a unique addition to a transportation themed room.

My son loves his lamp. It is also a great night light. It was the perfect final touch to complete his fire truck theme to his room.
