I am an interior designer and I purchased two (2) of these lamps for a client, great price! As they say 'a lot of bang for the buck'. The lamp came in a box approximately 30" x 30" x 12". All the components were properly organized in a single foam container. It took me about 15 minutes to put each lamp together. Once installed they looked amazing. The shade is fabric and it is carefully folded, but when you install it is wrinkled, nothing a touch of the steam iron won't take care of. I placed them in the two far corners of a family room. The product picture does not project the impact of such a large lighting fixture in a room. Amazing! My client is very happy.
